Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

VITA is an IRS sponsored program that helps taxpayers who make under $51k per year file their taxes at no charge. One of its main objectives is to help low-income individuals obtain the Earned Income Tax Credit, which provides up to $2k of assistance to those who are working but still cannot meet their needs. This program has been lauded as one of the most effective welfare programs in existence as it encourages work while providing financial assistance.

Greyson volunteers for the program as a preparer and encourages anyone who needs help with their taxes to call 888-434-8248 toll free during tax season.
