Students at North Carolina State University, who have been actively
courted by the GOP, believe that the party’s positions on economic
issues are in line with what their generation believes, but the
party’s brand is off track. Ads are seldom effective at changing their
minds, but one student believes that the party’s racist perception
hurts their prospects, and another believes that a change of wardrobe
might help.
