Coming soon to a campus near you… Surveillance cameras in classrooms at the University of Southern California have caused concerns over privacy from students and faculty. According to USC the cameras were implemented for lecture capture purposes and have a privacy feature that a professor can activate when a sensitive topic is discussed. However, some students still feel that the cameras cause them to change how they speak in class and doubt the necessity of their placement in the classroom.
