New Clinton Foundation head led university administration that blocked students from organizing Donna Shalala, former president of the University of Miami, came under fire in the 2002-2003 school year when her administration repeatedly rejected a conservative women’s student group. Administrators claimed the rejection was because the group was duplicative of an existing College Republicans group, in spite of the fact that multiple groups on campus were similar to each other (ie. more than one black student group, etc.).
